The SignaTouch control must be installed inside the shower and mounted 60 inches from the floor to the center of the controller. To ensure optimal performance and safety, do not place the control adjacent to the Steam Head—it should be installed as far away from the steam outlet as possible.
Recessed Installation (Model: STC)
Requires a wall cutout of 5.7" x 3.9" at 1" depth. The control can be mounted vertically or horizontally—orient the cutout accordingly. The faceplate measures 6.7" x 4.8", so allow sufficient clearance around all sides of the cutout for safe spacing from walls or nearby fixtures. Use the Mud Ring (PN: 04-8566) for secure placement and proper tile integration. Ensure at least 2.5" of rear clearance for cable routing.
Surface Mount Installation (Model: STCM)
Requires a 1.5" diameter through-hole for cable routing. The control measures 5.8" x 4" and can be installed vertically or horizontally. No mud ring is used for surface-mount applications. Allow 2.5" of clearance behind the unit and around all sides of the control for proper installation and accessibility.
Note: If using the SignaTouch solely for digital shower control or non-steam functions, placement within the shower can be based on user preference.

Customers are notified two weeks prior to the scheduled delivery to allow time for preparation. A forklift or crane is required for unloading this unit. Due to its size and weight, manual offloading is not recommended. Please ensure the proper equipment is available at the time of delivery.
Please ensure you are fully prepared to receive and unload your sauna in accordance with the instructions provided in your manual.
Thermasol outdoor saunas are delivered fully assembled. A forklift or crane is required for placement, and a licensed electrician must install the heater.
The path from delivery point to placement site must be clear and accessible for equipment. Saunas should be installed on a firm, level surface with slight runoff for drainage—such as concrete, decking, pavers, or compacted gravel.

Traditional (Finnish) Saunas: Typically operate between 150°F and 190°F (65--88°C), with a median standard between 165--180°F.
Infrared Saunas: Operate at lower, radiant heat temperatures, generally between 120°F and 150°F.
Beginners: Start with 10 to 15 minutes per session.
Advanced: You can stay longer (up to 20 minutes), but it is best done in "innings". Do a 15-minute session, exit to cool down and rehydrate for 5 minutes, and then return for another round. Always listen to your body and exit immediately if you feel dizzy or nauseous.
This is a matter of personal preference. Traditional saunas use heated rocks where you can add water to create steam and instantly increase the humidity. Infrared saunas are run dry without rocks or steam. You can also add essential oils to your water for aromatherapy.
Before: Yes, shower beforehand to rinse off perfumes, lotions, and oils to keep the sauna sanitary and help your skin sweat freely.
After: Yes, rinse off the sweat, salts, and toxins, and help your pores close back up.
Regular sauna use supports:

Infrared Saunas: Use invisible light spectrum wavelengths to heat your body directly rather than superheating the surrounding air.
Sauna therapy is generally safe, but you should consult a doctor first if you have underlying cardiovascular conditions, take certain medications, or are pregnant. Never use a sauna if you have a fever, are under the influence of alcohol, or feel lightheaded.
